They say that beauty is in the eyes of the beholder.
As a beholder of beautiful things, I believe that the designers who are featured on this site have some of the finest creative skill sets that I’ve encountered. Their imaginations sparkle with such intense interpretations of beauty that I find myself completely captivated. They craft their visions with a dramatic flair that attracts and holds your eye, spirit and your soul.
What I find truly remarkable is that they all say that they wish for more time to fully explore all of the ideas that traverse through their minds. Can you imagine what’s to come?
I’m chilled with excitement when I think about all of the directions in which the exotic and seductive jewelry on StyleFolioJewelry.com™ can and will travel. Here I give obeisance to the gifted talents who have agreed to contribute to my vision and help all of you further define yourselves.

Yvette loves to be creative and is always looking for new ways to express herself. In addition to designing some of her own clothes, painting, sketching, writing and a host of other artsy activities, she now adds jewelry designer to her repertoire. After all, this site is her new baby. Her pieces are peppered throughout the site under the label of Fiscally Fabulous. The collection, inside and outside of this label, will expand.
Jewelry gives her the opportunity to explore combinations of color, texture, scale and other factors to create wearable art. She views jewelry as one of the ultimate outlets for personal expression. One closet is definitely not enough. A self-professed lover of clothes (never too many), shoes (never to high), jewelry (never too much) and all things girly; she covets dressing up so that she can layer on all of her goods.
Stay tuned as she expands her artistic horizons.
Mary Jane’s design talent is an innate gift that she traces back to the first grade and one babysitter in particular. That person sat Mary Jane in the corner until she confessed to who drew the pictures that she had brought home from school. She was undeterred by this babysitter’s form of punishment. She continued to create art and as an adult she became the co-designer of the Iowa Vietnam Veterans’ Memorial.
Spring 2002 marked her artistic shift to jewelry design. She and her husband opened a store specializing in semiprecious and precious stones. She began designing to demonstrate the vast possibilities of the stones, and in that inspirational process her style evolved. She loves making statement jewelry, mostly one-of-a-kind pieces that she never exactly duplicates.
Her first granddaughter now serves as her muse and the namesake of her new line, Chloe Isabelle. This couture jewelry collection is designed for infants and toddlers — although adults love it for themselves. The Chloe Isabelle collection will debut on StyleFolioJewelry.com in fall of 2008.
The palette of colors, shapes and textures that Mary Jane has to work from is a designer’s dream. She loves anything that allows her to express her creativity, provokes curiosity and adds a spark of excitement.
Sherri’s interest in vintage costume jewelry started early on while growing up in California’s Napa Valley. The glitz and glamour of old Hollywood films fascinated her as a child, and once she reached her teens she began searching for unusual pieces of jewelry with style and presence, reminding her of the elegant movie stars of that era.
Upon completion of her degree in fine art at the University of California, Davis, Sherri traveled to Italy where she fell in love with the history, the art and the beauty of the landscape. The Italian flair coupled with a “gioia di vivere” led her to establish her home and subsequently a business in Florence. Her childhood hobby was turning into her career. For the next 18 years, Sherri led a very profitable import/export fashion jewelry business between North America and Italy. Soon she was selling American costume jewelry to some of Italy’s trendiest boutiques.
Today, Sherri’s passion has evolved into the creation of her own jewelry line. She spends part of the year at her home in Tuscany designing her collection and working closely with some of Florence’s finest artisans. The culmination of her background in art and fashion enable her to create exquisite vintage inspired pieces with the glitz and glamour she has always adored. Sherri’s visions are turned into opulent realities, creating unique and one of a kind pieces with vintage stones and findings. Her designs reflect the allure of the past, while making a bold new look for today’s fashionista and celebrities alike.
Polthakorn Viboonviriyawong, called Jo-Jo by friends and family, grew up in the jewelry business. Born and raised in Bangkok, Thailand, Jo-Jo watched his mother start and build a successful diamond business. His earliest creative memories are of his mother asking him to use his burgeoning design skills to help create new settings for her jewels. Recognizing his inherent talent, she later sent Jo-Jo to the United States to study design and encouraged him to turn his passion into a career.
Jo-Jo received his masters in design from UCLA and further honed his professional skills at one of LA’s finest art schools, The Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising (FIDM), where he graduated first in his class. It was at FIDM that jewelry became his primary focus. His vision is one that expands the role of jewelry beyond that of mere accessories. He views jewelry as art - art that makes a statement of personality and energy. Inspired by many vintage styles, Jo-Jo’s design aesthetic utilizes elements from the past in a wholly contemporary interpretation. His design signature is a flower as the centerpiece.
Jo-Jo designs every handmade piece. His global suppliers enable him to secure the best materials- pieces that you will not find anywhere in the world due to limited availability. Jo-Jo resides in Los Angeles and travels internationally.
